Do for others...no strings attached.

One of my favorite things is to do for others…

You guys I seriously get excited to come up with fun things to do for people, personalized gifts to buy, fun memes to send, encouraging messages, stupid and lighthearted messages lol, compliments to random strangers even. I’m the weirdo who is going to pass you in the store and be like “wow, you smell awesome!”

I just truly love giving love to others. Whether that’s giving gifts, spending time, sharing laughter, sending compliments…whatever it is.

Not so that I get recognition.

Not so that they’ll do something for me in return.

But there is just something about seeing their face and knowing that for a brief moment, their life was made better…that I was able to sprinkle a little bit of joy on their day.

Does it last? Not always.

Do they always appreciate it? Definitely not.

Do they remember it after the fact? I honestly don’t know.

But none of that matters, because for that one moment, they had joy. Their heart was warmed. They felt acknowledged, appreciated and loved.

Random acts of kindness can go such a long way. Just remember that in everything you do, don’t do it selfishly expecting some response or action in return.

Do it because that person deserves a little bit of love to be thrown their way. Do it because you care. Be real. Be genuine.

Love others and making this world a better place.

I promise your cup will be filled and overflowing anyway.
